The executive planning for an Iranian-French Health Science Day event
Subject to the proposal of the Iran-France Scientific Cooperation Office (IFSCO) and to the principle agreement to hold an Iranian-French Health Science Day event by the Ministry of Health and the executive planning meeting started at Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences.
The first meeting was held on September 2019 with the participation of a number of scholars of the university and faculty members who had a history of scientific and research collaboration with France for the details of the program and the second meeting was on December 2019 with the participation of a number of faculty members and directors of the university research centers. The event was held to decide on the subject and details of the event's side workshops.
Dr. Hamid Souri, Head of the University's Injury Prevention and Safety Research Center, was invited the second session to present two workshops on Natural Disasters and Road Traffic Injury to the IFSCO. These two workshops, were taken into consideration by the national priorities and the SDG indices, and emphasized that the current situation of the country in these indices is deteriorating. It was also decided that other producers of these events and workshops would consider upgrading the 17 criterias of SDG's.
